Armed with folk music, performing from Martinsburg to Moscow and Carolina to Connecticut, John strums his guitar, singing songs of hope, courage, sacrifice, indulgence, and love. Storyteller
John carries an accumulation of tales from a lifetime of experience and no two stories are ever quite the same. Drawing from a range of styles, Johnny is inspired by Bob Shane, Walt Whitman, Steve Goodman, Shel Silverstein, Seamus Kennedy, and Larry Miller, but receives most of his bard sense from his father, John Sr. John's ability to weave story into life occupies the imagination and stimulates every emotion of his audiences.
